The relationship

Some links on this site to cryptocurrency exchanges are referral (affiliate) links. If you open an account through one and trade, we may receive a commission from that exchange. This costs you nothing additional.

That is a conflict of interest. Naming it plainly is the first safeguard; the rest are below.

The safeguards

Commission is not a scoring input. The six editorial criteria are fee transparency, security practices, regulatory disclosure, education quality, learner usability and support transparency. The scoring function takes only these as arguments. Adding a commercial term to it would require a visible change to the code, not a change of mind.

Reviews are published regardless of commercial relationship. A venue with no referral programme, or one we are not part of, is still reviewed and still scored.

No call to action renders for an unverified record. If an exchange record is not marked verified, or has no confirmed referral URL, no link is displayed at all — not disabled, not a placeholder. One gate, one function, every call to action.

No link cloaking or redirect chains. Referral links point directly at the destination and carry a sponsored, nofollow, noopener and noreferrer relationship. There is no redirector on this site, which also means there is no open-redirect surface.

We do not review what we have not examined. A record without a verification date and source URLs is not published.

What a referral link is not

It is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a statement that the venue is suitable for you. Suitability depends on your jurisdiction, your circumstances and your objectives, none of which we know.

Current state of this installation

This build contains no active referral links. Every exchange record is a labelled placeholder, the global affiliate switch is off, and no call to action is rendered anywhere on the site. When real records are added, they must be verified and dated before any link can appear.
